the reinvented axe works great with the wood which is ridiculously easy to chop.... So just use an axe. its cheaper and works well. This... thing it likely cant even split wood properly, only some thin pieces which split easily. it has very aggressive edge too, so it wont be easy chopping, unlike an axe which has quite shallow edge for most part.

I hear you but this tool doesn't strain your back since you can operate it on an upright position with arguably less force. Less strain is always good for the user's longevity :D

Working awful hard to make black and decker sound like quality. They are now the red headed step child of dewalt and guaranteed to last about as long as a tool you buy from the dollar tree.

Man. A lot of “neat” use;was tools. Black and decker is no longer a quality company and should avoid. The dual drill heads is a gimmick. Like so many things posted here they are neat but no real person in a trades would use them. I disagree about others saying avoid battery tools. Just have the correct power needed for the job. I have mostly high capacity batteries for my tool ecosystem and I have 3, 6 chargers and about 20 batteries so never an issue I just grab another.

The narrator people are missing so much is an artificial speaking app. I really don't get why people whine about something as trivial as a different computer-generated narrator. The British accented computer-generated voice is used on many channels. There are several "go to" artificially generated voices that you hear regularly all over KZbin and other platforms. People are really, really overly sensitive about every little thing now days, lol! I enjoy the content. It doesn't matter to me who or what is narrating as long as they or it can read clearly, the narration put together well, and be expressive. I do respect a human content creator that narrates their own videos well a little more for their work and talent than a channel that uses AI. It doesn't bother me enough to complain though. "It is what it is", as they say, lol.

Strange how over the years you get used to a particular voice, then when that voice seems to have been replaced by a totally different voice, for me, the channel has changed. You still have good product, it's just the voice.

REALLY want the old voice back. If he's not available, then get the rights to AI clone his voice or something. He was a BIG part of why you were successful. Daily watcher, here, and really not so crazy about watching anymore. Big meh where you used to be GREAT.
@haukenot3345
@haukenot3345 4 ай бұрын
Shouldn't we be grateful that, for the time being, voice actor is still a job people can earn their livelihood with? Suggesting that a voice you like should get cloned seems pretty self-centered when that would realistically mean that the person in question would have a hard time getting actual speaking gigs afterwards.

@@haukenot3345 He'd make more money than ever, and passively, with his IP rights. I didn't say STEAL it from him. And it's not my goal to be so centered on others that I don't voice my opinion. You voiced yours without anyone calling you "self-centered".
@haukenot3345
@haukenot3345 4 ай бұрын
@@marthajean50 I don't have much faith in Intellectual Property rights in that regard. AI will always be used as a way to cut costs, and unless a legal framework for fair compensation is in place, companies will likely try to compensate artists with a single payment and require them to sign away their IP rights. But sure, if everything worked out the way you describe it, it might actually be a good arrangement. I am sorry for calling you self-centred.

quieter than a vacuum cleaner.... you mean the very loud things? 59 decibels is basically a talking noise. So imagine working and hearing the vacuum cleaner constantly running near your face at conversation volume. Thats not quiet. A basic fan will do the work just as good for cheaper and less noise. Or damn, literally just hook up a cheap vacuum and a tube, so the suction happens thru the tube but the vacuum cleaner is further away, therefore it'll be just as quiet as this thing and it'll be cheaper.

Traders actually hate battery tools. Not because they're not good. It's cuz the battery runs out too quickly so they have to go back and forth. They'd rather set up a corded one

That’s just not true, Im a general builder and use dewalt 18v tools, I have 5 batteries ( 4 or 5 amp hours) You can get more powerful batteries but I havent yet felt the need.
@kylehenline3245
@kylehenline3245 2 ай бұрын
Not true at all. Like yeah you want a corded grinder, sawzall, hammer drill and maybe big honking regular drill. So you aren't needlessly wearing out your batteries on heavy work. But battery tools are incredibly useful and everyone runs them. You can't assume you are gonna have power on new contruction and with gas pries these days its cheaper to buy 4 batteries a year than to fuel a generator all day every day.
