I sprayed Spicebomb Extreme on a jacket last winter. I went to clean it a few days ago, and I could still smell it. I can even still smell it after washing it too, just very faintly.

I kept hearing that sentiment and a lot of praise, so I bought a bottle last fall. I think it's a 2022 batch. It sits comfortably in the 6-8 hour range with moderate sillage... decent, but very far from a beast. It's a really nice fragrance for cooler weather, but there must have been a serious reformulation in the recent past.

@Snake-filledChimp Well, where I live, the winter is very dry and can get pretty cold as well. Because of that, I tend to overspray the majority of my fragrances that I use for that season, especially if I like the fragrance (Spicebomb Extreme is in my top 5 favorite fragrances). That might have something do with it. I think my batch was from around then as well. I impulsively got it from Macy's (I had to borrow money from someone to get it as well. That's how much I loved it) during the 2022 winter season.

I wore Arabians Tonka from a decant once. I decided I didn’t like the fragrance quite quickly. But I could not for the life of me get the smell off my sweater, I washed it with loads of detergent several times to no avail, the smell just spread through the rest of the garment. RIP my favourite sweater spray this one with great care

Hey Ash, that Joop bottle you have is a newer, softer version. I have one of earlier batches from 1993, juice looks much darker, almost evil. Spray on Saturday night and still detectable next Saturday....

Absolutely anything Aaron Terence Hughes produces. His Red Fever is one of the few fragrances that I feel like I could be absolutely killing people with when I'm wearing it. I once made the mistake of wearing 3 sprays of that in the summer. I couldn't wash it off (from my skin, not even clothes). And it's not even a heavy fragrance.

I own altitude from Victorinox Swiss army and MAN does that fragrance perform! I bought it blindly because I enjoy the classic and this flanker goes 10-12hours easily! Super fresh and aromatic all day, love the stuff! Lavender, clary sage, pine needles, mossy/woody masculine glory!

I have Arabians Tonka, and when I had a tester of it, I wore it mid-summer on myself and my clothes. A lady came into the area where I work 2 hours after application, and asked me what I sprayed THE ROOM with. I made the mistake of spraying it on my work shirt that time, and it took 2 wash cycles in a hefty amount of Tide to get the smell out. Instant tells that if the "screechiness" of any specific Montale fragrance appeals to your nose, buy it, buy it, BUY IT! They project like no other because of that "screechiness", they are not trying to be "refined" like a Fragrance Du Bois or whatever, they want to be in your face, it makes them bold. I will say, there's some stuff from that house I really don't like, but I've never gotten a complaint from someone other than myself about any of them on skin. Could not recommend them enough. There's a reason YSL, LV, Dior, and (insert designer) have money to spend on ad-space to beg you to buy their frags, and why Montale (and their sister brand Mancera) doesn't do that.

I got 9pm because so many people were saying how long it last but honestly, I don't know if I got a bad badge or something mine but mine is kind of gone after 5-6 hours. Even on my clothes when at the end of my 8 hour work day I can barely smell it and to do that I have to push my nose right up against the cloth I know I sprayed it on in the morning.

I just bought a bottle of Louis Vuitton Myriad yesterday. It's one of their extrait's. They just got those in at the local LV store, and the manager had texted me the other day to let me know. I had wanted to try Symphony and Myriad for a while. I got to try Cosmic Cloud too. It was exciting. I layered Myriad with Ombre Nomade and PDM Perseus just now. It smells awesome.

I bought a 5ML Sample of Arabians Tonka. Loved it and thought it was a more masculine version of several great Montale/Mancera fragrances I found too feminine to wear (Instant Crush, Rose's Vanille, Intense Cafe). Winter passed so the sample just entered my box of endless samples and i sought out a full bottle. It's so strong that I realized I got a few wears out of the sample and still had 2.5 ML Left. I eventually invested in a 50 ml bottle that I'm sure will last me a few years. Only thing is those small Montale bottles look so comical.

I have 9PM it lasts weeks on clothes (vanilla note), and on skin it lasts 12+ hours, the final note is musk it doesn't come off easily when showering/scrubbing. And afyer getting out of the shower of you rub the back of your hand on the spot where you applied 9PM you will pick up a faint musk scent. And also, by the 12+ hours I stated above. The scent evolves it goes through all of its notes. The first notes that lasts about 2 hours are the herbaceous ones of lavender and bergamot, then it becomes apple pie, then uou het the clean scent of lily of the valley, and finally vanilla, and the day after you wake up you will no longer smell the vanilla but a musk scent. And if tou expect Afnan 9PM to stay linear for 12 hours, and call the gradual decrease in projection as the notes reach the core..... "Low quality". Stay with actual low quality fragrances that stay loud, amd linear for a 1 hour.

I'm wearing Nishane Karagoz right now. It isn't beastmode but the longevity is crazy. And it's a Hella sigma scent. Oud maracuja by Maison Crivelli and perverso extrait by baruti are the strongest that have ever graced my nostrils.

Vetiver from Guerlain : classy with staying power. I keep coming back to it over 40 years.

Vetiver is alright. However, Guerlain Neroli Vetiver is one of those scents that I wouldn't recommand if you're younger than 90 years old. It smells like a mix between hospital ointment and prom night at the retirement home. Gets slightly better once it dried down, but you'll never shake off the feeling that grandma in her fur coat is creeping up behind you everytime you catch a wiff.
