I’ve tried planting tomatoes 🍅 and mint in Malaysia a couple of times. But they just dry out. Is it because of the extreme heat and sunlight? Basils survive well though.

Jag, your channel is one of the biggest factors I got into gardening. However, I am just curious why you dislike GMO corn? This is actually the first time I'm hearing something from you that I'm not completely on board with.
@DaisyCreekFarms3 жыл бұрын
We do not yet know the consequences of Genetically Modified Organisms. Just like in the 1950s and 1960s cigarettes ads would air on tv and even doctors said it's ok to smoke, we did not know the long term consequences of smoking until later. Similarly we won't know the long term effects of GMOs until few generations later. I like to live a life in a natural unaltered way. So, I do not like GMOs.

We plant in multiple rows and hand pollinate. It requires a watchful eye and your attention as they need to be pollinated within a window of time. Lots of good info if you google hand pollinating corn.
