I'm so jealous of the people with good beach rocks. Mine are all either tiny or formed in such a way that they don't have enough room to really decorate. I'm kinda looking forward to finishing this island and starting over with a new one. Now that I know what to look for, I'm going to be a LOT more picky about what island I go with.

I have a rock that’s literally 2 tiles that are diagonally spaced, and another that is like really weird shaped and its the only big one :( I was only focusing on resident services and the dock I forgot the rocks(also my resident services is one tile off from being lined up with the airport)

My solution was always to put my lighthouse up on the main one (top right border for me) for "incoming ships" and set up a spot for sirens to sing on the other small secret platform one on the back but this is a lot better than anything I've done and effectively uses and blends more space more cohesively and better than my designs for them usually do XD

Thanks for the ideas, I don't have any painting stations on my island! I currently have a large section of beach plus two large rocks ddedicated to a memorial to two losses that hit me really hard last year. I've got the pagoda from Gullivarr, an Evergreen Ash item, and a pond rock and other stones, then two more dark pergolas, one square and the other round, finishing out the scene along with the grave stones and candles in front of each. I also planted heaps of black flowers all over my island. Now I am working on finishing my Critterpedia and redesigning my rivers, and having a good time working new ideas around what's there and be harmonious.

A few things I did on my own islands were: -Little hangout spot with pillows, log lounge chair, log arm chair, and log shelf as well as an ukulele -I had a painting spot on one of my medium sized rocks for Tipper. She had three spots, one near her house, one down the way from her house, then one on the beach rocks. I also added pots that she had painted and a bamboo basket that was gonna be like a brush holder but then it came out bigger than I thought so I kept it there anyway. -This one ties in with a beach area. I made the beach area a little playground then what I did with the rocks was put some flipflops on it and I'm going to put chairs on it sort of like where the parents would sit while watching their kids. It's a pretty small rock, but I thought it was a good use for it. -Another one goes along with a playground area on my main island (different from the one above) where I put an elephant slide I got from a balloon on the rocks that led out into the water like it was a water slide. I haven't decorated the rest of the medium sized rock, but that was a start and I liked it. -Use it as a tourist viewing deck/stargazing spot. I put the telescopes on it, but then I also put the viewing telescopes you buy from the nook miles on there as well pointing to the side so people could have a good view in the distance as well -Some of the back ones like the ones that really jut out, I'm putting a blanket for one like a little rock blanket or picnic spot and another is going to be a secluded spot for me to just sit and watch the ocean especially at 5 am. -One of those elongated beach rocks on the back of my main island, I put my lighthouse {I love to put my lighthouses on those back ones} and then I also put a large mushroom platform from the Mario set on it right against the second tier cliff so it adds more to my "magical forest" at that location. I don't have the best beach rocks for the most part. Most of mine are either small or have a big rock in the middle of them or are the thinner medium ones, but I still like to make the best of them. The beach rocks are my favorite things. I'm just salty we can't put our houses on them because I totally would if I could.

Sadly I only have small round beach rocks with not much space for decoration but I love my Island layout so much that I wouldn't consider a restart at all. I would've loved it more if you would've included them in the video too! :( A little more variety so everyone could get inspired and enjoy the videos Edit: I would love to see some secret beach ideas next :)

It really bothers me you can't go in the tent! I love the little tents for camp areas and it really is a missed opportunity. Same with the bath tubs and pools
