Most of us know what it’s like to be stuck in a 40+ hour job. You do it because you need the money. But is it possible to have both the money AND the lifestyle?
Absolutely! The answer is passive income.
What is passive income and how is it different from active income?
Active income, or hustle income, is normally directly tied to time and results produced. This means exchanging time for money, or hustling to sell, create, or distribute something.
Passive income, on the other hand, is regular income that you receive with little or no ongoing work because you have already done the work up front. This income comes to you on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis from the automatic sale or billing from a previously sold product or service.
People often mistake passive income to mean income that magically appears without hard work.

Here's what you do, Drive around in an Ice cream truck that also doubles as an Uber so you're selling ice cream and picking up people at the same time.

Actually I know a guy that is making a nice passive income with Uber, 1) he imports cars, that alone will make money, instead of selling them right away 2) he put's them a couple of months on UBER, he splits what he makes with the driver, so he doesn't even need to drive 3) He sells the car at a profit (from the importation price + the margin from Uber). This is a good semi-passive income.

I love that you were real and started off by talking about how it's not going to be easy or "a get rich quick". Passive income does require a great deal of upfront effort which makes the return investment so valuable. Great vid. :)

I don't usually leave comments on KZbin but I gotta give it to you Chris; video quality is great and you're a genuine guy. I think there are thousands of people who are sick and tired of "Get Rich Quick" scams but your videos are very informative. Keep up the great work and produce more on the passive income topic.

Hey Chris, Been stumbling through lots of your videos. Im loving all the content you share. Im curious though as i have an online business on the go which is passive and has been proven, company has been around 41 years and I'm always looking for new reps to work with. My question is on your channel do you happen to do business shoutouts or advertising or traffic share? any chance we can chat about some possibilities?

Live in Elderly care. An amazing opportunity for young people without families. There are lots of elderly people who don't need 24 hour assistance, they just need someone to be there to cook meals and check in on them from time to time throughout the day. You get to live in their house with them + make a decent monthly wage, and you have plenty of time to do online courses or whatever you want to work on.

Hey Chris, I just want to say I've been watching all of your videos and just trying to absorb all of you knowledge (thank you for sharing that by the way, on behalf of everyone watching this I'm sure). I'm in the military and I was really childish with my money for a long time. I'm JUST now starting to realize how stupid I was and trying to begin saving and being really really disciplined and responsible with my money. My question is in relation to paying off debt. I have just under 5k worth of debt at the moment and it's ALL for my car loan. The interest rate is just under 10% because it was my first loan and I didn't have any credit history, lesson learned there... I just got into investing and from what I understand I should try to maximize my contributions to my Roth IRA for the year BEFORE I do anything else. Now my question is whether or not I should try to hit that 5500 for this tax year (sometime in the spring i understand...) or try to pay off the rest of that debt.. I was living paycheck to paycheck for quite sometime, not for lack of income but just because I wasn't watching my spending and got into a bad habit. I ALWAYS pay my bills/statements/rent on time though, but I'd wind up at zero by the end of the month. Basic math tells me that if the interest rate for the Car Loan is higher than the returns I would get on the IRA, I should eliminate the Loan first... But I also feel worried that I'm already having a late start, and that I should try to max that IRA now while I'm 23 and I can get a still relatively young start... since I can't exactly go back later and make up for lost time. Sorry for the long question, I love your channel and I think it's amazing what you're doing. I wish more Americans and more PEOPLE would have the same realization I did and seek out this kind of information. Happy Holidays/New Year!

Good question... I'm not a financial advisor, so I can't tell you what to do. But I think it's a good idea to prioritize like this: 1. Make sure you have an emergency savings account with at least a couple grand. 2. Pay off all high interest debt 3. Save and invest as big a % of your income as possible. Hope that helps!

Wix is great for beginners. If you want to have a little more control you can use WordPress with purchased templates. Though Wordpress has a steeper learning curve then Wix.

Hola Chris, I like your videos a lot, however in this particular video, I suggest you to think about the concept of "Passive income". In my opinion it is wrong and unrealistic because, nothing can maintain and grow if one remains "passive", think about it, would your gf still love you if you show her a "passive" attitude in regards to your relationship? would your youtube channel keep growing if you remain "passive" and do not upload more videos nor improve your channel in general? would you be able to keep tenants for the property that you rent if you remain "passive" and do not any maintenance and others? Would you follow a "passive" leader? I love your channel, keep it up!
