Some other things I have noted for the quants and the valr section that i hope would help: VALR: Difficulty level is definitely higher than the CAT not just because of the difficulty of reading but also because of the ambiguity in the options. So I would highly recommend you to let go of a question as soon as you get stuck and cannot find a breakthrough. The exam gives us enough chances to shine elsewhere. Also know your parts of speech very well (Chat GPT helps). Also please make sure to brush up the basics of grammar, subject verb agreement, Modifier errors and the like. And finally relax now that the exam is so near. QADI: The game changer section and the most scoring even for people not very comfortable with Math. So definitely give at least half of your entire test duration to this section and try to maximise your attempts. Ideally 20 + attempts would be great. Also please make sure to not skip any steps in calculation to avoid silly mistakes. XAT gives us enough time so be take a minute extra if needed but make sure you have the absolute correct answer before you move on to the next question. All the best!

Alright, here’s my exclusive MBA-inspired skincare routine: Face Wash: Use Tears of Dedication to cleanse away the stress of solving 500 RCs a day. Exfoliation: Scrub off Layers of Self-Doubt every weekend - keeps your face and your confidence smooth! Toner: Apply Essence of Motivation daily. Serum: Use CAT-Prep Vitamin C for brightening those dark circles caused by late-night mocks. Moisturizer: Lock in your success dreams with Night Cream of Determination. Works overnight so you wake up glowing (and slightly anxious)! SPF: Protect yourself with Shade of Rejection Shield. Keeps you immune to minor setbacks and harsh rejections! Consistency is key, just like studying. Follow this religiously, and you’ll not only ace your exams but also look like a million bucks on D-Day!

Thankyou for the tips! For the second Q, if option E is eliminated on the grounds that common practice does != make it ethical (with which I agree); couldn't a similar thing be said about D? As sending to other institutions might be fair but sending to police station is still considered to be a bribe?
@shlokbhagwatКүн бұрын
So my point is that common practices may not be the right practices. In option D the same theme is not reflected because it only shows the practices of that specific store and not an industry wide trend. So please be careful.

Hi, I've been scoring around 80-90%ile in CL mocks and sectionals (DM and VALR) as both of these I feel comfortable and confident with, do you think i can get 90 at least in the actual exam?

Hey shlok, i noticed you took the gmat as well. I’m actually planning to take the gmat/gre as well. Im really struggling with RC though, its the only thing that keeping me away from a really good score. Do you have any suggestions on how to improve RC?
@shlokbhagwat2 күн бұрын
I have a few tips but be prepared to grind a ton! Speed: The first thing is speed is super important and the only way to build that is read. Read tons of Aeon essays, practice as many RCs as possible to the extent that you recognise the answer by only looking at the options. (Trust me this is possible with enough practice, the right answer looks a certain way which you'll recognise with practice) Do CR: CR is the back bone of RCs as a lot of RCs are just elongated CR questions. So do the CR Bible religiously. Finally, Maintain an excel sheet where you keep a track of new words and write a sentence using that word related to your own personal life. This will help you remember the words!

How to improve Quants?? I scored negative in today's mock
@shlokbhagwat23 сағат бұрын
You need to be super specific in question picking. The fact you stumbled upon my channel means you've been prepping for a while and i am convinced there were definitely 5-8 questions that you knew how to do comfortably. Key to identify them, solve them, build momentum and before you know it you'll be cracking questions that you'd have otherwise no business attempting.

2:10 the second point don’t you think giving discounts is a short term solution we should consider the long term goal as well na pls clear this out for me
@shlokbhagwat2 күн бұрын
Makes a ton of sense but again this could be question dependent on whether the question asks short term or long term decisions. And in the cases where nothing is mentioned we need to go with the one that is going to have a sure short impact on sales. Imagine you were in the customer's shoes and the product is only slightly out of your budget. You're much more likely going to be drawn through a discount than an advertisement that does not do anything to actually help you make the purchase.

I am always reaching the final stage where I get 2 options, but I end up choosing the wrong one. Specifically in the last question, when you say that he is also giving sweets to orphanages, schools, etc. But it can be that the sweets he gives to police are bribe, whereas the sweets given to orphnages are not. For example, I gave a bribe to person A, but the money I gave to person B was legit. Also, certain companies have a concept that gifts with value less than 1k, for example, are acceptable. Please correct me if I am wrong
@shlokbhagwat2 күн бұрын
Makes a ton of sense, so glad you pointed this out. In no way would I discredit the thought process here but xat dm is notorious for subjectivity and that is something we have to live with. Even if you come down to 2 options in 4 questions and lets say you end up marking all of them randomly between those 2, in all likelihood you will get 2 correct and 2 incorrect and end up with a +1.5 so even if you come down to 2 options, there is a huge upside here. Hope this helps

Great question, my opinion is that it will be possible if it has been stated as an option. If not then there would be a hint in the question about the same.
