The BTS team has been hyping up something for the 10 year anniversary, and it's not as if Jordan doesn't still have an Ianite emote on Twitch and Discord. Not one of those dorks who keeps harassing the players and team for a "season 3" or more content or anything, just curious to see what will happen and who's gonna be involved.

And the map itself has nothing to do with the anniversary, it's just a bunch of community builds thrown together. And oh wow, three capes, only one of which you get for just having the game, for the other two you need accounts on Twitch and Tiktok. I guess we must be grateful we got anything at all for being with this game since before most of the bedrock players even learned what Minecraft is

What a fun experience! Was hoping to see more of the older versions like legacy but I was cool to see Alpha even if it was only for 30 minutes. I hope Minecraft will still be active 15 years later but by that time Hytale would've probably came out and replace Minecraft. Thanks for the memories even if my kids won't experience the after-school minecraft with friends or watching STampy, CaptainSparklez, PopularMMos or the Pack or even the Yogscast. No! You've got to be kidding me! Those retired colors for the wool are really nice! Why Mojang?! They're perfect for building! I would 100% use two dyes on a single wool if it meant we could have all of those nice, soft shades back. Even the OG light blue is better than the current one because it is so bright, and vivid. I really like that light green next to it, too! That periwinkle between the blue and purple, tho! As much as I don't care for pink, having a gorgeous fushia to work with would be amazing as well. Why does minecraft have to look so dull without these pretty things! 😭 😮‍💨😕 Strong reactions I feel in my builder soul aside, this is a pretty impressive map. It would be amazing to see such buttery animation quality in java someday.

the one sad thing about this map is that you can clearly tell that Mojang is trying to slowly phase out the Java version. While I think the bedrock engine is much more optimized and i love the cross platform aspects, the micro transactions are AWFUL and are clearly what mojang is trying to push.

It's the same game... don't you get bedrock for free if you buy java now? unless you're a pirate, you can play the map But anyway, java edition has no way to release maps to players without downloading a file (with a gigantic filesize) or constantly running a server, neither of which are particularly favourable for something like this

I hate to be a hater, but this map is: 90% Making it look like all the fun in MC is the crap they added since 2016 9% associating non-modern MC with alpha and deliberately making it look boring Like man! This game probably has the biggest non-recent versions community, with modpacks, servers, etc. a big history of events, celebrities and they just ignore all that. Completely. Like, imagine a museum of some city's history and the only things that are shown in it are "we build that road and that park 3 years ago, and renovated this intersection 2 months ago" DUDE!! It's a celebration of your history, if you wanna rewrite it so bad then don't celebrate it, the hell? I understand that it's just a game, but Minecraft takes a big part in my life and I just feel blatantly disrespected by whoever is responsible for these decisions.
