People miss the whole point of Zaha Hadid’s buildings. She dared to be different. They are built with a lot of difficulty in spatial design and material engineering.

So many of our Great artists and designers on Earth die so young. Imagine if she would have had another 20-25 years like Frank Lloyd Wright had where he did some of his most acclaimed designs at an age much greater than her’s passing at only 65 years of age.

The Broad Museum (#6) in East Lansing, MI is a delight in my hometown. The art exhibitions are mostly free, and the museum also serves as a cultural center for lectures and meetings. Do whatever you can to see one of these buildings which are modern marvels.

Not the best buildings I have seen from Hadid...especially the Antwerp Harbour House, the perfect example of what happens when one does not respect harmonious integration...it seems like the building wants to take over and crush (or rape) the already building. Whereas the first building respected the canons of Harmony, Hadid's building creates dissonance. Saw a lot of this type of buildings being built in the past decennia. They won't last...

The Antwerp design is the most ridiculous design. The one in Germany is also ridiculous. The best design is the Soho 5 towers in Beijing, then the one in Hong Kong, and may be the one in Seoul.

The architecture is very ugly, no character or symmetry. Just all over the place.
@MindsEyeMedia3 жыл бұрын
Good thing for Zaha those hiring world famous award winning architects see things differently than you. The same thought as yours cross my mind when I look at those Veer Towers in Las Vegas. They look much better in these pictures then in person. veer-towers-las-vegas.com/index.html

They are just 2 slanted square boxes with yellow stains on them. Those architects are brainwashed from the stupid architecture academia that exists today becuase they can't design beautiful things, people think that alien architecture is architecture. People forgot about nature, symbolism, craftsmanship in a building. Those people are not different they are just following the indoctrination that exist in the modern architecture world and education system, which saddens me becuase there is better architecture than whatever this crap of architecture they're making all over the world. Humans are very foolish and gullible. They treat architecture like a trend and most stupid architecture students and people follow that stupid movement. I look at them and I say Damm poor people calling and seeing ugly things beautiful. If only they knew how unfair the modern architecture movement came into the world and destroyed and erased great architecture principals which made great towns and cities. There is space it's just the architects, clients, and stupid people who admire modern architecture have no clue what they are designing. I wish modern architecture dies and I would like to see art deco, gothic, traditional buildings in the future. Today in the world of architecture it's a dictatorship and full of corruption and humans are doing this.
