She’s worse at making financial decisions than drunken sailors, because they’re not taking out six figure loans to gamble on a Saturday night. For a business I would probably get into a combination lawn care, pressure washing, and cleaning business and do package deals for homeowners. Because a lot of single with good jobs love to pay someone else to clean. I’d be terrified if I was in her shoes

⁠​⁠@@MikePrezAIThanks! I’ve been thinking about it starting it for awhile. It’s really refreshing to hear someone like you actually talk about all of the costs of being a landlord/homeowner. It’s was too common to hear so many people talk about the mortgage being pretty much the only cost! I’ve heard that mortgage/finance fraud is pretty common for Airbnb owners. They often do stuff like lie about the use of the property for a better mortgage rate and some other stuff. A handful of governments have already banned Airbnbs too and apparently has long term rent prices go down a couple percent, so it might be the start of a tidal wave of state and local governments banning them.
