Them bags seems to be pretty impressive on helping speed up the drying process.

I have to say that I was suspicious of the claims but it does seem that the wood dries faster than in the IBC totes.

I had someone buying bundles all winter 2 winters ago. They moved into the area and bought a wooded property. They thought they’d just immediately be able to cut up a tree and burn it. They didn’t want to buy a cord because it was too expensive, but the they didn’t have a problem buying $40 worth of 1 cubic ft bundles every week. I even had 5 cubic ft bins of loose wood and told them it was a better buy. They liked the convenience of grabbing bundles. Great to see Lisa again. Keep up the great work.

I am constantly amazed at how much people will spend on wood. I have seen a slow run in April and early May but this week has been busy.

Hey Darrin and lovely Lisa. Our bags seem to working well as well. I need to check the oak bag and see how that is doing. I also did a maple bag and wanna see how that works. Again we have a lot of wind here which is great for drying. Nice video guys

I will be anxious to see how the oak does. Thanks for the nice comments Jeff.

Hey, Darren and Lisa. Nice day, and nice work with backhoe. Totes are filling fast, that's awesome. I just watched Tony on TC's Outdoors on he needs a new sticker for his splitter, yours fell off. And while you're at it, I'd love a sticker for my channel sticker board if that ok with you. Thanks for the great videos and catch ya on the next one, Kenny ❤

Them bags look alot easyer than all them half cord pallets i ben building . I might just have to give a few of them a try . How do they hold up dumping them into a trailer and have you tryed them with soft wood . The pine we use for campfire bundles has a bad habit of molding if its just thrown into a pile
@woodruffwoods Жыл бұрын
They seem to hold up well. AJ Shaver has a bunch of them that are a few years old and they still look really good. I have not tried any of the soft woods but I have to think with the airflow through these bags, you should be good.

drying wood in cloudy damp high humidity conditions is never fast, it will still dry, but time is the key, when it is hot and dry enough you do not have to cut grass, that is the perfect wood drying weather,
@woodruffwoods Жыл бұрын
Very true. The ideal conditions make a world of difference.
@chrisartman6168 Жыл бұрын
It would have been an interesting comparison if you would split and stacked some wood when you filled the bag to see where that would be at
@woodruffwoods Жыл бұрын
I did do that and I will be checking that very soon
