$150 - Edifier R1700BT vs $130 PreSonus Eris E3.5 BT / Sound Comparison

edifier sounds a bit like from under the pillow and this is not corectable, presonus miss bass. If I listen the passage between 5:38 - 6:25 whole at once, at the end my impression of edifier is bad. I wanted to buy them but after listening this I decided not to.

PreSonus sounds flat and balanced overall. Should work great as studio monitors but not for multimedia/entertainment purposes. The Edifier sounds enhanced on the highs and lows but underperforms at the mids. Somehow, this is the profile that >90% of the population prefer.

Presonus are superior. They are excellent for music, especially if you add a subwoofer.

Edifier is a level better for music reproduction and sound clarity. It is more to reality. PreSonus is only midrange but almost no bass. PreSonus sounds like cheap headphones, very weak. I bought R1380DB and maximum satisfaction ;-)

Edigier is so muddy and it is just bad sounding speaker, PreSonus has less bass but the sound is so cleaner and with so much more details, they are much better speakers if you are not someone who thinks more bass-better speakers 😂😂😂
