Well, I was 7 year old in 1990 and grew in the 90's. I must admit, after year 2000, I also started getting close to all the artist from 1950's till the end of 2005. Even the ones I never listened, liked or admired. As, after 2005, the music era fell down and has sunked. I need to provide heartfelt gratitude to all artists whose talent was missed in those times. Today it is not music, but noise that is produced for a price probably we are all paying. Thanks to all and the owner of this yt channel

@@Harp00nX I like old school rap and by that I mean up until say 2005. Because because of the Beastie Boys, the Run DMC song with Aerosmith, and the era with MC Hammer I became interested in rap for a period of time. My interest kind of ended but at times I do like rap. None of the hardcore crap with bad language and awful lyrics.

I don't know about that. I mean, I think you're 90% correct. I was a kid through the 80's, turning 20 in '95. The 90's are my favorite era of music, for sure, but I also really like 2012-'15. I can't really say why, nothing of note was going on in my life at that time.

In 1995, those reminiscing about '74-'75 might've been high school graduates around that time. Meaning they were born around 1955-ish. Meaning they're close to retirement now.... I'm relatively young in comparison (born 1982), but it feels like yesterday (or at least last week) when all these songs were constantly played on the radio. Yes, radio....that was the closest thing you got to streaming services back then. :D

I was born in 1995, so it's very special year for me to look at. Three most iconic songs of 1995 are 100% "Gangsta's Paradise", "Wonderwall" and "Waterfalls". And you missed Mylene Farmer and her super-iconic song "California" And it's interesting how rock songs doesn't age at all - Green Day, The Offsping sound as fresh as 27 years ago, while pop/RnB/etc are so outdated!

Don't know why every site I search for only posts top 100 lists when there are only 300-400 that chart on Billboard per year. This has made recreating playlists from my youth a real challenge, especially when you factor in crossover hits. My local radio station played deep dance cuts, Latin, and alternative songs that I would have gone the rest of my life never hearing again unless I dug deeper. Nowadays I don't think I listen to more than 100 new songs per year, but I could recognize just about every one of these instantly.

I used to say music had a super steep bell curve, started getting good in mid fifties and started being trash after the mid-90s. I was saying 1996 was music’s last year of being great. But maybe it was 1995. I’m very lonely. I should have move to Seattle when first offered, not in 2015 when I was guaranteed custody of cats in an unhappy life. But I could be dead too so unlike my uncle, aunt, cousins, I try to remember. Happy new heathen new year!

I don't know how I still remember the Human League's "Tell Me When" despite it being in heavy rotation on my legacy Top 40 radio station back in '95. My radio market's adult contemporary stations don't even play it and it's my favorite Human League track.

I only know human league for two songs in the '80s. Don't you want me and I'm only human. I have to dive into their stuff.

So saturated year!! Full with hits and good remakes. I'm asking what did happen to this new generation? Why now so less good singles and hits? Where are high quality full albums??!!!

I was shocked at first on the song "Heaven for Everyone" by Queen cuz Freddie died in 1991 but that song released in 1995 in Freddie's voice 😱😅

It was a post release album: Made in heaven. So those tracks were recorded before Freddie’s passing away.

De glorias pasadas solo quedan ruinas, muerte y olvido y cuanto más hacia atrás en el tiempo peor. De los 90 solo quedan grabaciones y supervivientes.
