Beautiful locomotive and video! She was British built, I'm happy to see her still running.

I came here in 2023 and 2024, I love this place. purely because of the history in the place. plus I got to ring the trams bell/gong with permission. every time i've come here i've left with a beaming smile on my face.

It looks quite similar to many of the UK's smaller industrial/shunting locos!

That's correct! Becuase earlier Japanese locomotives were made by UK and American locomotive companies!

She was built in Glasgow according to some sources, but the name plate reads Manchester. Either way she was made by Sharp, Stewart & Co.

@@oo0spartanized0oo The boiler design looks similar to Furness Railway No. 20 which is also still running and was built by Sharp, Stewart and Co. in the 1860s. I guess that makes these locos cousins! But anyway, the business moved to Glasgow in the 1880s and this loco predates that move, so pretty sure it's from Manchester. Whatever the case, it's a delightful little beast and I'm really pleased to see it still doing its thing! Also, the tramcar featured also hails from Lancashire, built by English Electric at their Preston works.
Thank you very much. The quality of your video is hgh. Soft and peaceful rythm, fluidity and preciseness. The images and sounds invite to visit or to share from a distance the interest and peacefulness of the place.

Amazing! I had no idea Japan had something like this. That cute little engine is a 2-4-0, which is very, very rare. It must have been reboilered. I want to see the rest of the park, too.
