This was so interesting to watch. I finished the owls first, then did all three deer 😜and foxes,the edges with parts of the moon, the domes and the flowers. Now all that I have left is sky, the tower and all the leafy bits. I am not good with greenery, so I think I am going to do the trees last.

I love how everyone has a different approach to it 😍 I think you aren’t alone in leaving the greenery til last, most people seem to have done that - me included! ❤️

Yes I've been using your videos as a bit of a guide! I definitely would not have chosen this image at this piece count myself so I need all the help I can get! I'm really scared of all that greenery! I suppose I will be sorting by piece shape! It's been really fun to see everyone's progress in discord and share my own!

I agree! I’ve loved seeing everyone’s progress too! So interesting to see the different approaches 😍 I think with the piles that sort of ‘loom’ over you all the way through a puzzle (in this case the greenery), I try to put them away, not think about them until the time comes to tackle them. By that point the puzzle is so much more done and manageable, that they don’t seem quite so daunting. Also, often a big filler pile like that tends to have more variety than you think at first. It may be that shape sorting will be necessary, but I think that pile can be sorted a little further first too - I’m not sure yet, but I know we’ll get them in one way or another 😍

Another awesome video! I would also say that I generally start with the big areas that are connected to the edge, and move to the smaller areas. I am definitely going to try using your methodology for the puzzle along. We will see if I can leave things uncompleted, and sitting unconnected in the middle of the puzzle during the start. I am looking forward to your next video!

I agree, I like to have things attached - mostly this puzzle has been good for that. Floating sections haven’t been floating for long! Wildlife is terrible for “bitty” puzzling - all the butterflies and stuff - it always feels soooo much better when I can attach them to the main puzzle, It just feels like a total mess otherwise! 😅

Possibly missed this question in the comments but how long did it take you to do this part of the puzzle?x Great vid by the wayxx
@Vickymakesandbuilds12 күн бұрын
You didn’t miss it - I honestly don’t know, is the quick answer! I’ve been so focussed on breaking down my process and talking through it while filming that I don’t really have an inkling of how long it has taken. I will say that I don’t feel like it has gone slow - I think it has been quite a smooth build so far. I can try and get a ball park figure from the footage, as much of it is in real time. Overall I did that in about a week, although obviously I’ve been a bit stop start because of all the editing I have to do 😍

Ah, now I can name it…Sorting followed by micro-sorting 😬That‘s exactely what I do. As I am to lazy to sort immidiately into lots if small piles I directely combine some regions while sorting knowing that I will sort it afterwards… like that I can start puzzling earlier but have to sort in between in smaller portions.
@Vickymakesandbuilds12 күн бұрын
Yes, I’d say that’s an accurate description - enough sorting to make some sense of it all and start, then micro sort as you go. This just makes sense to me as a puzzler, but I think it especially suits this size of puzzle - on larger piece counts my half hearted initial sort can’t occasionally come back to bite me in the butt! 😆

Thats a really nice puzzle 🧩 😊 this is the first time when i heard the german voice over yours 😂 i prefer the original one 😌

Ooo! That must be the new dubbed feature that YT has introduced! I haven’t heard my vids in other languages yet, I imagine it will sound a bit odd to my ears! 😅

@ yes it sounds like a tipical AI-Voice and ist instad for „Rand“ edge it says Kante 😂

Oh! ha ha 😝 Overall though, would you say the translation is fairly accurate? I quite like the idea of it to reach more viewers in countries that don’t have English as their first language, but I suppose how useful it is depends on how good the translation is - was it pretty decent for the most part, would you say? 😍
@Dapolatrix12 күн бұрын
@ yes for the most part it was ok 👌🏻 but as you see, my writting skills in english, are really bad, despite it i prefer your original voice 😉
