I've tried a million different variations of cooking techniques and they've all got their pros and cons. I'm currently in love with this Schwank Grill! In the past, I've cooked most of my steaks via the reverse sear method. They turn out great but it takes FOREVER! Not so much with this beast. The beauty of this grill is that it cooks at 1500 degrees! I simply salt my steak, sear it at 1500 degrees for a minute, flip it, and sear the other side for a minute, then drop it to level 3 and finish off for another 3 minutes. The result is an incredibly juicy steak done to perfection in a short five minutes! I'm honestly not eating too many steaks right now in my prep but I cooked some for Crystal and my folks this weekend and they all loved it. I'm all for streamlining my time and increasing efficiency. I have no doubt this grill will be a daily staple in my meal prep once my competition prep is over and I'm eating steaks on a more regular basis!
