I know. The races themselves are so apples-oranges. One is a purpose-built straight line race vehicle, the other you can commute to work or travel in in complete comfort, and still kick the ass of 99.9% of the vehicles on the road.

@@kensroswell the Plaid is a $120,000 super car with every tech advantage possible, AWD, launch control and traction control... the truck is built with no traction control.. and whos to say you cannot add a cooling system and AC and drive it to work every day... given the very fact it gapped that plaid... it would likely still gap it with an AC system and cooling plus an additional 50 lbs of interior "comfort" and afterwards take it to Lowes and fill the bed with bricks and lumber. Tesla fan boys always cry when they loose and claim the whole commuter car crap... its not a commuter car, nor a grocery getter... its a 1100hp AWD monster with a sticker price of a small home.

this truck was wicked fast! but not hoonicorn fast.... + hoonicorn is 1500 hp just like the truck but its also 1000 pounds lighter and geared to launch hard on no prep while the truck looked more geared for mid and top end so it would need to light his turbos way harder on launch which means a prepped surface or a poor your own puddle race would be needed to launch as hard as hooni
