Apparently he wanted to quit SHINee because he thought he was bringing the team down. After his surgery, he had to retrain his voice to sing and because of that he wanted to quit. Thankfully, the members talked to him and encouraged him so he stayed.

I don't consider myself a shawol but I really love and respect SHINee. Especially Onew...He really has gone through a lot and this is the first time I've seen him actually cry. +saga2828 Taemin just have his own ways of holding back his tears, and you know, behind that smiles that he's always showing, is actually sadness, that's just the way he holds back his tears. The only times I saw him cried was when they won the "Artist of the Year" award back in 2013, and in their very early years when he talked about his parents on this one radio show, just type Taemin cried or crying, and you will see the clip that said Taemin crying cut [08.07.31]. Those were mainly the one times I saw him cried.

+Leepingu Yeah, Korean has a lot of different words with the same meaning. "Bogoshipeo", you can hear this word often from the songs in lyrics, which also means, "I miss you". Bogoshipeosseoyo also means "I missed you". I guess, there are words you say with the same meaning but in different time of verbs, for example, there are words they say that means in the present, past, and future words. Just like, in English, in present, we say, "I miss you", in the past tense, we say "I missed you", and in the future tense, we say "I will miss you". So I guess, in Korean, it's like that. Well, I would in every languages hahaha

I think the reason why they were surprised is because instead of Key, Onew followed Jonghyun. SHINee's order usually is the crybaby jonghyun, really emotional Key, Touched by his dongsaengs Dubu, Minho slips a few tears here and there... Then there's minnie, probably laughing at his hyung...
