Namjoon has always been an intelligent bookworm and poet since he was a kid. When he discovered hiphop in middle school, he found a new and opposite side to himself that he wanted to expressed. And now he loves nature and arts more because he said it gives him peace and it makes him not go insane (about their success and others). But even if time passed, he still always have that wild rapper RM, the reliable leader/idol RM and the intellectual Kim Namjoon, and he's not afraid to show it all (through performances, lyrics, words, or simple actions). He's really an incredible person.

I know that some people would like to see this side of RM (rap monster) again but this was the time where he was so angry and feel the need to proof to the world his capabilities as hip hop artist. This time too was when he easily triggers by hate/negative comments. He admitted how he was so resentful and it was not heathy. He have now move on and decided to be RM/Kim Namjoon where he is much more at peace and content, in one of the Vlive he give an impressive that he no longer gravitate to these type of songs anymore instead he wish to create songs that have longer longevity sometime akin to the art that he love. He is a man of skills, I am glad I’ve seen this part of him. He have grown maturity and it’s reflect in his today’s music. It is definitely a personal development I would say. He also said that there’s many different styles, beats, delivery and techniques he wishes to explore. As a fan I think we cannot demand artist to make the same music again else it will no longer be genuine or carry the same level of passion as before. I really respect RM for the versatility of his rapping, delivery, crazy word play etc. I cannot wait for RM3.
