Yeah nah, finally I found a comment where it explains it. Because I got the knife on lvl 4 in my alt, even though I played till level 14 on my og account... So basically meaning that it's randomized on level. (That or killing a person with a HUGE kill streak which then that exps leveled you up... because that's what I did on my alt and won the knife...)
