Eilean Donan Castle has a special mystery around it. I wasn't impressed with Isle of Skye - but you may love it.

My Great Grandfather migrated to New South Wales Australia in the late 1800's, sadly I dont think I will ever see the Matheson Lands of Scotland, however, one man came here and now we are many.

The Chiefly line of the Matheson's including Murdoch Buidhe (yellow haired) are related to the Ancient Earls of Ross. Both are descended from the Ó Beólláin family, which is the Gaelic version of Bjolan. They descend from the King of the Hebrides; Ketill Björnsson, nicknamed Flatnose.
