Honestly not blown away by this one on the first listen. Don't get me wrong, it is still very good, but I am afraid they will lose their originality in the near future. This song in particular follows a familiar pattern of verse -> chorus -> verse -> bridge with (heavy) breakdown -> chorus. The cleans are good, but I personally prefer the dark ambience and screams like on Narrative. Just an opinion. Still love this band and will continue to support them.

The album is going to be MASSIVE! Like it has a long runtime so you know this mid banger will flow perfectly into the heavier material so it doesn't just all blend together and mixes things up. I loved the last album soooo much, but my only wish was that on the next one they would do more songs like "To Take Your Place" and it looks like they are doing that x10! Plus this is a good one I can blast at work to ease people into this album 😆✌️ Plus the new Windwaker and Foreign Hands albums got me back into the more melodic side of the genre again 😅
