Miss Natalie, is there any chance you could do AS/A Level past paper walkthroughs? Seeing your thought process during the PPQ sections at the end of these videos is really useful

I hope to start these once I get the content finished. I have had very little time lately due to my other school commitments but more videos will be uploaded soon.

Hi I was wondering if u do tutoring or know anyone who does for chemistry
@masumarahman26132 жыл бұрын
Hi, Miss. I have a little doubt. It's actually the 2nd Example question in Chapter E8 of Topic 15. Basically, there's a High Resolution 1H NMR spectrum for 2-methylpropanoic acid, which is (CH3)2--CH--COOH. So, as you can see, 2 CH3 groups are joined to the CH group in the middle. So in this case, will the peaks be split into seven peaks for the CH group environment? Due to n+1 rule? PLEASE ANSWER. I am asking because the textbook shows it as a quartet but I think it should be a septet?
@amvjin6760 Жыл бұрын
A little late but there are 3 hydrogen environments since CH3 is attached to the same carbon molecule

Thank you so much! You have been a really big help!!❤

Could you explain to me why have you chosen quintet in Q1, isn’t it five protons ? What about quartet? I thought it’s four proton.. still confused 😐
