I wish I could sleep like a happy dog or cat maybe once a week... My cats make me jealous when I see them with their eyes closed so tight wrapped up in my blankets. Sierra was such a cutie, Meadow is too.

Brian, at 9:00, have you thought about using a tarp zipper as a semi-permanent fix for your tent zipper? It seems like it could be a good quick fix to help with those low temps and wind. They can be had at Lowes/HD/Menards for less than $15. It is adhesive backed so it would go on fast, and they are usually sold in a 7' length, so it would likely cover the floor to ceiling opening you are dealing with.

Get a round stove brush. Been cleaning my wood stove chimney and stove pipe for 40 years. These work great and really clean the pipe. Much better than what you’re using and will help keep them working longer without the build up occurring so fast.

We got a foot of snow and getting hit with another storm starting in next 30 minutes little more than half foot 4 degrees at night without wind-chill. Glad you and meadow are warm and toasty. That wood stove looks warmer than what I have lol. May need to switch. Stay safe everyone. Especially you Brian and I know meadow is covered.

Plenty of days living like this in an old 72 Shasta in Colorado. Brings back some cold memories. Just remember that at 9000 feet and higher fires don't burn so well. You'll double wood consumption for the same amount of heat.

Hey Brian - looks like you're doing well up there brother. At times I find it somewhat funny how I'm drawn to your channel. I first started watching your channel several years ago when you were winter camping in Colorado. So here's a bit of back story: I spent 8 years living in Fairbanks, AK and then moved to northern New England where I lived for several decades before finally moving to Arizona. While there were a couple of reasons for my move out here, the biggest was to get away from snow and winter. So, yea - I mostly despise winter but am very intrigued by how you enjoy it - even seek it out! Funny. Strange funny, not funny funny. No matter what - you're a cool dude. use some clothespins to hold your final sheet/blanket to help your door. with clothespins you could hang the sheet on 3 sections of your rope instead of just one in the front.i-front/left side/right side. you would be able to hang it longer and it could wrap around the inside of the front of your tent and still have the corners tucked into the lower blanket. clothespins could also help with your zipper problem. take this from someone who knows how to make a drafty window into a passive solar heater out of bubble wrap. duct tape and staples in less than an hour. you can feel the heat 4 ft out on the coldest days as long as the sun is shining. my house was built in 1895 so i know from drafty.
