Enjoyed the ramble through your wargame history. Nicely done armies. I completely agree with your approach to 15mm.

Thanks Champ. After 40 years I've decided to "knuckle down" and at least finish what I've got! I'll try and do a battle report in the near future. Hope all is well with your return move to the "West". Cheers.

@@buckospiffle594 Everything's pretty good, thanks! We had HORRIBLE internet until this month. I finally upgraded to a better service. Now that I can upload proper videos, I'll start doing them again after hunting season (we're in the midst of whitetail deer season right now, and we typically need to put 3-5 in the freezer to augment the grocery budget). You'll see some videos starting in December, and maybe one final channel name change. I want to do less of the painting updates, and more with campaign game AARs & maybe some random bits of other stuff. Cheers - Eric

Just getting started to play Blucher. It looks interesting. For 40 years I played the GDW Fire & Steel rules. I also stated with Minifig 2nd Gen, I have about 18,000 figures in my collection. Great video.

Thanks champ. Not a patch on your fantastic 28mm figures but OK on the table top. Going to have a go at doing a battle report or two, wish me luck!

I just scribed to your channel. Coincidently I have a few of the old games and books that you have, such as Napoleon's Campaigns in Miniature, Napoleon's Battles and Uniforms of Waterloo. My first 15mm's were from an British company, Hinchcliff which I started with those in the 70's.Those line drawings of the paint guides in Napoleon's Campaign actually came from the Hinchcliff handbook of there 15 and 25mm range which I also have. Later I included Ral Partha, Minifigs, and much later Old Glory. In addition to my 15mm collection of Nap's and ACW, I have a sizeable collection of 1/72 plastics, and 28mm, and have now moved on to the newer EPIC ACW and WATERLOO sets. I have already painted some of the EPIC British as Netherlands line, and they look pretty good at this scale. I, too, am an older bloke at 72 and do my best to paint these little guys. I use an LED Lighted Head Visor Magnifier now, and get as much support for my hand as possible to paint the details as best as I can, and they look okay for wargames standard. Still all fun for me. Looking forward to more of your posts. Be well and enjoy the hobby!

Thanks champ. My figures aren't anything special but I get enjoyment from the hobby. I'm going to try presenting some "battle reports" - see how I go. Cheers.

Always nice to go look back at old figures. Its also good to hear about figure history. I was 7 in 1980. I was into star wars figures. I did not start wargaming until i was about 14. I have seen Blucher played before in 15mm. I seem to remember it being an interesting game to watch. So i would be up for you having a battle.

In 1980 I was in my mid 20's working in tropical Darwin . . . . . I suddenly feel old! 😆😆

Nice piece of history there. I remember many of those rule sets when they were released. We had the "new minifigs" as well. I even opened a trade account with minifigs and sold those yellow packs around several of the clubs in the early 1980's.

Thanks champ. Thoroughly enjoying your ancients games, hopefully you've got a couple more in the pipeline? Also keen to see what you create with the elephant heads you recently purchased. Cheers.
