15mm Pyro Ammunition

15mm Pyro ammunition being fired from 12G shotguns using an adaptor.
All legal and available to holders of a firearms license in Qld and potentially other states.
Especially suitable for bird and bat mitigation apparently.
Makes tested in this video are :
Angel eyes
Desert Gold
Devils Tail
Sun Grazer.
The Sungrazer was a bit lame, but the other 3 were fairly reasonable.

Having trouble finding info on this stuff. Is it corrosive?? Does it leave a shitty deposit in the barrels?? Safe to use in full choke?? I understand you have to manually decap and recap the 12 Ga adaptor .. how easy/quick is it to do this??

It leaves some deposits, being blackpowder it is somewhat corrosive but not massively so. A bit of water down the barrel after a session is all that is needed. I have used with full choke, not issues. Decapping, takes a bit of time with improvised tools. A friend of mine with a lathe made a few speciality tools up for the job that work very well. If you are interested I can put you in contact as he is selling them for not that much.

Thanks mate ... we used to muck around with the "bird fright" stuff a few years ago ... which was kind of cool. But it took a half hour's scrubbing to get the crap outta the barrels afterwards. Lemme stew on it for a while.
