[15sec Tutorial] How to Measure Your Ring Size at Home

It may be tricky to find the right ring size... so we made a short clip for you!

Prepare these:
- A ruler
- A piece of paper
- Scissors
- A pen
[How to Measure Your Ring Size at Home]
1. Cut a thin strip of paper.
2. Pick your finger where you’d like your ring to be.
3. Wrap the paper strip around your finger and make sure it is snug.
4. Mark with a pen where the paper meets.
5. Measure the length of the paper up to the marked point.
6. Check out our size chart on our website to determine your ring size!

it is possible that the ring is completely stuck to the knuckle, because many times I find it difficult to remove it

It is, but when I got my ring sized in the store, the jeweler explained that when you’re taking off the ring, the ring is supposed to “catch” or kind of stop on the knuckle a little bit so that you have to wriggle the ring off around your knuckle. It’s like she was saying the ring diameter is supposed to be a little smaller than the knuckle… 🤷🏾‍♀️ Idk!

Totally valid! Yes, absolutely. That's why I mentioned in step 3 that the paper has to be snug (in order to go through your knuckle). It's a short video so we don't have all the details, but your point is very important when it comes to measuring. Thanks for adding this to our tutorial!

Yes, you're right! When I said "snug," I meant to say that it has to be snug enough to go through your knuckle. Some people have bigger knuckles than the others so this is something you have to doublecheck! Thanks for your comment.

Tight so that if you were to slide it off like a ring, it would stop at your knuckle since the knuckle is thicker

안녕하세요! 반지 사이즈는 딱 떨어지는 사이즈로 나오지가 않아, 사이즈 차트를 확인했을 때 가장 근접한 숫자에 기준을 삼으시면 됩니다! 인아님의 손가락 둘레가 50mm(즉 5cm)이라면 국내 사이즈로 10호가 잘 맞으실 것 같습니다. 미국사이즈로는 5.5로 생각하시면 됩니다.

Have you tried to measure the internal diameter? The size you gave us, 66mm, seems like the internal circumference. 66mm might be 11 and a half(1/2) in US ring size. Let us know if you have any other questions!

​@@Thaglabx13 If you can go over to the video once again, especially at step 04, please make sure you marked with a pen correctly where the paper meets. If you still get 66mm at the end, then the US size 11 1/2 will be the right fit for you. The most popular women's size is US 5~7 whereas the men's size is US 8~11. Also, can you double-check the metric on your ruler?

@@Thaglabx13 You have to cut a strip of paper just enough to cover your finger all the way. So it can accurately measure it. We use a ruler with a unit of millimeters(mm) here in South Korea. But, in the US, you may have to check if you are using the right ruler. If your ruler is in inches, you might have to convert your unit to millimeters(mm) to find the right ring size. I hope this makes sense to you :)
