Mr Moosa, you handle the conversations with such honesty and simultaneous kindness. It was lovely to watch the unity in the room as we work together to fight climate change!

Lots of talk / meetings, very little action. We know which sectors produce the most emissions and there's not much action on any of them - agriculture - electricity generation - transport - buildings - waste, especially food waste - industry (aluminium, steel, cement, ammonia, paper etc) - manufacturing, especially those requiring heat The only thing the gov has done to attempt to reduce emissions is to trash the economy, increase umemployment and make the vast majority of SAs poor - great job. Around 70 - 80 % of people will live in cities by 2050, so cities need to be at the forefront of climate action - food & water security - renewable energy (incl community energy & storage) - compact cities with integrated, affordable, safe public transit & EV support infrastructure (V2G part of energy security strategy) - green buildings - zero waste to landfill, especially food waste - child friendly & gender sensitive cities - climate resilient SA is signatory to - Agenda 2030 & 17 SDGs - New Urban Agenda - Sendai framework on hazard risk reduction SA gov is failing its people awa its international commitment to a better future for all. I'm not sure how you can sleep well at night... no conscience I guess. Thanks.
