TONY BARBER Jonny Lang's Still Rainin. was stunning, watching the video, and listening to the song found it to command my 100% attention. He's another Great musician that started early. so was Micheal Shrieve playing with Santana, and especially in the song "Soul Sacrifice" What a Masterful performance, his drum solo, at age 20. That's another vid that commands my 100% attention. Being a drummer myself and at 63 I still play. But I digress, I absolutely loved Traffic, and Blind Faith. Spencer Davis was a good band but I loved the other two. Here is a link to Steve Winwood's Wikipedia profile page. Lot's of facts concerning the life and times of Steve Winwood.

I care. I think it was a worthwhile point of interest, in the sense that many artists, no matter how talented, required years of their early lives to achieve that kind of mastery, vocally & instrumentally. If he was forty at this point? He'd still be great, but it would also be somewhat less amazing, given that he'd have had that much more time to deliver at THIS level. Just sayin'.. @Benji Martin I'm from MA and back in the great days of music, in Boston a very popular music venue, "The Boston Tea Party" well, first I will say, I was in a band, "The Cloud" that played there during the times of up and coming local bands, like "The J. Geils Band" played there almost every weekend. The cherry on top was having up and coming or already established musicians come and play there too, and it must have been the Spencer Davis Group and this kid fronting the band, his vocals were stunning and yes his looks were too, ; ) If your on facebook there is a group page, "who remembers the Boston Tea party- 67 - 70" guess like the Fillmore.Well, it might not mean anything to you though some great info and stories 💖🌺👍🏾 He turned 73 beginning of the yr. ☮
