Jazz does a lot more than “toot her own horn”. She always brings a certain Rhythm to AG, and makes any Contender shake rattle n’ roll

I always said that Laser was the AG GOAT. That Reverse Leg Lock on Hang Tough showed that he went beyond 1000%, which was more than 2 Scoops’ 900%
@kevwwong Жыл бұрын
Would agree with that. He was - at worst - very good at every event, and untouchable in a few. Nitro was still my favourite though. Maybe because he was an OG, and because he transitioned quite well to the analyst position.

I don’t think the Tournament Bracket this season was handled properly. I felt that some of the Prelim Winners should’ve been ranked 1-4, and Mark Muse, who was ranked 5th, that was unfair, because he Won his Prelim. Also, the risk of seeing 2 Prelim Winners or 2 Losers face each other sounds Unfair to me. Even though it was like the Original Tournament Format from Seasons 1-2, the Point System screwed a lot of things up, and worse, it limited the number of Contenders this season from at least 20 men/women to 16.

After 30 for 30, I saw "16.5 sec head start" in the title and assumed this had to be a Two Scoops episode. I was half right.

Was Episode five of Season Five on the American Gladiators feature two Grand Champion contenders, Kimberly Tyler and Wesley "Two Scoops" Berry?
@jonathanmyers28672 жыл бұрын
No, it's Peggy Odita.

Close. Both 1st half winners. Wesley won the Grand Championship, but Kimberly got beat by 2nd half winner Peggy Odita and when you get to the second half you'll see why I'm about to make this statement, Peggy O in my opinion was the best female contender ever on the show

Both Renee and Jerry fought hard, but they were just beaten by two outstanding contenders, "Two Scoops", and Kimberly. Usually in that 5th season most contenders who lose in the preliminary rounds ultimately ends up losing again.

I know they re-did the tournament format for Season 5; going with 8 head to head matches to determine the seedings for the Elimination rounds for each half season. Were the seedings done strictly by points regardless of winning or losing (meaning someone who lost their Preliminary round match could be seeded higher than someone who actually won?) And also for Season 5, I recall two or three times that Tank or Rebel pinch hit for injured Gladiators.
