One of my best friends was a man who was raped by his stepmother and when he went to his father he was kicked out for "seducing" his stepmother... My friend was on the streets for two months and when I met him in a CRC he was in a group for those who were raped and I remember this one woman said "a man can't be raped... You're pathetic..." My heart broke as I watched him break down. This was supposed to be a safe space for the survivors of rape and here was a person being told that they didn't go through this horrific and terrible thing just because they're male. You can't gatekeep a crime. It doesn't matter if you're a man, woman, or a nonbinary person. You are a human being and can unfortunately be the victim of a crime. It doesn't make you any less of a man. It doesn't take away your value. You are a survivor whether you're a man, woman, or nonbinary person. Abuse doesn't choose a gender. Abuse is abuse.

Still absolutely loving this MEP, it's so important to talk about these stuffs and make sure male victims know they are important too. Society has to let go that toxic idea that men can't be victims and that those who are abused are weak or stuffs, anyone can be a victim and they all deserve respect, help and protection. And anyone can abuse, women shouldn't get a free pass for being shitty just because society thinks they can't be strong and cruel. Let's forget those ridiculous gender stereotypes and understand that anyone can hurt and get hurt, and we should treat every case with the same compassion, justice and understanding.

Dude, I still remember this MV made me start learning about male abuse and the information made me so furious. Seriously, how can society believe male victims are at fault? Like, it makes NO SENSE! It made me want to advocate for male rights cuz females that are sentenced for abusing and raping males receive MUCH more lenient jail times, which is absolutely unfair. Like excuse me, it's your FRIGGIN JOB to help out victims, not just tell them they weren't sexually assaulted or abused or raped. Most countries' laws don't even COVER ftp (forced to penetrate) male rape victims, and it's counted as sexual assault at best. Then males raped in tv or something like that are laughed at and some say that they're "lucky". I'm just so disappointed in society that I just can't 😒

The lyrics of this song are so messed up, people that are actually like that need psychological help. As in they like being mistreated, it's sad and worrying people are like that. Actually, I think the song is trying to show the effects of toxic relationships or at least showing the complexity of toxic relationships. Many people, including me, are stuck in toxic/abusive relationships with loved ones for that very reason-love. I mean, those people need help dealing with trauma, but not because they love a toxic person. My therapist actually supports me loving my parents, the very people who give me hell. You don't know true courage till you stand up against someone you love because while it hurts hurting them, you know you deserve better. When editors are hosting a mep, they'll split their chosen song into parts and post a sign-up video with a description to explain the rules of their mep, which type of mep they are making (crossover/canon/au/etc.), and what theme editors should follow when making their parts. Other editors can comment to request which part they'd like and which movie(s)/character(s) they want to edit with. Then the host will choose which editors they'd like to accept into their mep and will respond accordingly. When the mep is full there will be a deadline for everyone to finish their parts by and the host will collect the finished parts and put the final mep together :)

Unfortunately, both men and women can be victims of abuse. But I don't know wether or not I would fully understand because of my father. I don't know if my dad is abusive or just a jerk. He's constantly upsetting me and my family. He's not gonna gain anything if he keeps saying stuff he says like "You talk an awful lot of shyte child.", "Can you give me a minute when you're done talking bullshit?", "Zoe, shut your fuckin' mouth!", "Don't open your mouth.", "Holy Jesus, can you not do what I tell you?", "Get out of me fucking sight.", "I don't want to hear another word.", "Shut up.", "Just shut up and do what I fucking ask you.", "She's (me) the fuckin' problem", and "You know what? You can push your fuckin' luck.". And to top it all off, last year he got so mad at my sister, he drove off and left both of us home alone for four hours. Not even the first time he did something like that. The first time was when we saw "The Incredibles 2" for the first time and when we came home from the cinema, he got in an argument with my mom and I did what I usually did when dad is mad: I blocked it out with my earphones. Next thing I knew, he was saying goodbye and didn't tell us where he was going. My brother was outside trying to convince him to get out of the car, but it didn't work. He didn't come back until almost 1am. And before he came home, I texted him asking where he was going but he didn't respond. The next day he needed me to send a text for him because he was driving and it turns out he was going to respond but didn't, leaving my family worried and confused for hours. He keeps making one mistake after another and refuses to admit when he's in the wrong. I hate him so much. I haven't said "I love you" to him in two years and for a damn good reason.

Wow i never imagined that Rapunzel will order to hang Jack, this is horrible O-O Yeah he might be rude with her and probably beated her but at least he'll appologise and regret his decision. That's what i got from their scene! The Guardian realised his eror, regret it and want to fix it but won't. Poor him ;( I feel really sad for Jack, he didn't deserve to be punished! I feel bad for all the mans, the ppor are confused and beat by their girlfriend|wife; it's tragic! The moral is now matter if your a men or women, don't abuse others especially the persons you love.

It's seems that you've misunderstood the Jack/Rapunzel part a bit so I just wanted to clear things up x') Jack is the one covered in bruises while Punzie doesn't have a single scratch on her. This is meant to show that Rapunzel is the true aggressor, not Jack. Jack did not "beat" her or harm her in any way (him pushing her away was 100% in self defense). Rapunzel is the villain in that part, not Jack, but the guards just blindly believed her even though all of the evidence points to Jack being innocent.
