Hehehehe... as an INTJ, I know the effect. The problem with this idea (or the concept of INTX in general) is that if you look at the cognitive functions, INTJs and INTPs have not one single function in common. With regards to the functions, INTJs are closer to INFJs than to INTPs, and even closer still to ENTJs. Still, I was uncertain for a long time about whether I'm INTJ or INTP. With regards to this video and the topic of restaurant behavior though, it's pretty clear-cut that I identify with the INTJ a lot more than the INTP.

As an INTJ with high S and P ratios I can say the INTJ response was spot on when teasing my friends in a similar situation. When it comes to ordering for myself though, I usually triangulate between value, unique experience, and caloric intake when deciding (and I still pick something faster than most of my friends lol).

I used to be the intp one. However, I've conquered that issue - whenever we go out (my family), I just wait until everyone else has ordered and just ask for a dish that someone else has ordered. It works wonderfully in narrowing down the options. Ultimately, it's all just calories anyway.
