#16 Qantas B747-8 Zvezda 1/144 Assembly

This would've been a wonderful airplane for the Qantas Airlines fleet. The airline had the 747 in the fleet for quite some time. The model is a terrific looking Qantas-retro on this Boeing 747-8. Excellent looking model. Nice job!!!!

Thanks! It's kinda sad that QF let go of those relatively young -400ERs, but there wasn't' a choice during the pandemic, I guess.

Я покрасил кабину пилота в серый цвет, чтобы свет через пассажирские окна не был виден оттуда.

Yes, QANTAS should have purchased the B47-838ER-yet they sadly disrespected their entire 747 heritage, and the engineering workforce, extending over nearly 50 years. They retired their young fleet of -438ERs… at only 17 years of age. Your model is beautiful, your skills are awesome. The livery reminds me of the 747SP-38s I flew trans-Pacific on, in decades past :-)
