A boomerang is an invention by Aboriginals for hunting. The stick is designed in such a way that if thrown correctly, it returns to the owner after being thrown. The woman threw the boomerang outside, but it came back, hitting her. I once threw one when I was young, but I couldn't do it right so it didn't come back.

The probability of hitting yourself with a boomerang is very low, even lower when standing inside of a window. Granted someone has hit himself with one: sued himself in court and got his insurance to pay him several thousand.
