The vintage valentines remind me of McCalls paper dolls. We couldn't wait each month to get a new "doll" and outfits. We glued the dolls to cardboard as you did and played for hours. I kept them in a shoebox. It was a magical time. Early 1960's Thank you!!!

Ohhhh, how I LOVE Vintage images celebrating any holiday! They are vastly superior to anything one can find in today's trendy stores, in my humble opinion. Sherry, I just love everything you do and today's projects are no exception. But I think my favourite is the sweet birdie perched on the stick inside the heart wrapped in yarn. I watched your video on Tuesday morning and of course loved everything you made. A little later in the day, I bought some candy hearts to make ornaments out of the boxes. Okay I LOVE the use of cardboard in these videos! It goes to show how many times we buy a form or shape made of wood or plastic when we could just use a cereal box or something-totally helpful in balancing my “how am I gonna craft this year when I’m supposed to be on a budget?!?” concerns! Lol

The corrugated cardboard can be difficult to work with, but cereal boxes or other thin, hard cardboard is fun to work with, and it can be doubled (or tripled up) to make it thicker. This video was a fun challenge for me.
