16 TON VS 25 TON

I would absolutely love to own one of those 16 ton presses. Freakin awesome machines and excellent craftsmanship in the construction. The die setup is excellent as well. I guarantee that when I get all my pennies saved up I am getting a 16 ton press.

I think I would rather use the 25 ton press. It may take a little more effort to do finesse to do the lighter stuff but that's just practice.

Thats a pretty slick press did you get the plans somewhere im in the process of making one.

No plans, just a general idea of how it should function then we found the balance between aesthetic, functionality and the ability to be duplicated.

It''s a 5hp single phase motor running a 13gpm 2 stage pump.

What rpm is the 5hp motor? And do you need a soft starter or is it run from a motor rated fuse breaker?
