Never seen you before but what a fantastic video... "Attack and we will see" this is something I have taken on board for a long time... people try too much to decide the outcome before even walking the path... I always say walk the path and when roadblocks and opportunities present themselves then question your choices... it is pointless to question before you know the path... I have blown up accounts and these moments were crucial for me to understand certain qualities I had but didn't realize, once I saw these qualities I could work to change them. but without ever trying I would never have known they existed. I still have a long way to go on my journey but seeing how far I have come makes me excited for where I can end up.. Thank you for the video and helping inspire and motivate all those who have doubts.

What a great video full of wisdom. I came to most of these conclusions in 1 year and a half trading and the hardest and ongoing fight is against myself. Not following the game plan, allowing frustration to trigger destructive behaviour... and most importantly, seeing the difference between my "me" of outside market hours, who's a pretty good analyst, and my "me" during market hours, who executes like shit still at least half the time and the other half takes trades that are just random and can't re-explain after. I see Umar has also commented, but thanks to Tradezella, at least I am able to hold myself accountable and check my data and what I am doing consistently wrong and work towards improvement without beating myself too much over losing control here and there and taking losses. Knowledge of one's self and self-control, the ability to stick to the plan, stay focused no matter what and execute with discipline trade after trade over a long period of time is incredibly harder than acquiring the knowledge and is, I believe, where most people fail.

Is a knowledge with math and stat would be better than knowledge in finance?

I only care about forward-testing after a year and change in. Back-testing sucks, OK for looking at some charts to try and reverse engineer an edge, not for practice, not even great for tweaking. Matters very little to tell yourself to hold if you can't actually practice holding the trades live. No point building a system that you can't execute on, unless you are making a serious commitment to change your personality around your trading style, kind of silly though when there are infinite number of trading styles you could build, using your personality as the selection tool.
