This is beautiful! A little helpful hint though, pour a thin layer of resin, lay all of the steampunk things into it, let it harden and then you don’t have to worry about them moving around. Add more steampunk in different layers and let each layer harden as you go.

@@PouringYourHeartOut I saw you put the copper mica powder in the mould then the cogs and keys. Then resin. I think the person was recommending putting resin in first, just a thin layer, then put pieces in.

I do adult coloring and one of my favorite types is Steampunk - esp. the people. I enjoy shading the pictures I do and found a way to shade with the ink pens. With pencils, a blender pencil is great. Depending on the type of coloring page (only buy the books that are blank on the back of a picture), I may do all pencil, all pen or a combination of both.

Best dragon and dragon mold I have EVER seen, Julie! 😊❤ I'm not a 'dragon person', but this is truly beautiful! ❤ If the mica powder floating around drives you crazy (like it does me), I wonder...would a quick spray of varnish work? I mean, before the resin is poured? I'm really tempted to try it next time I use my metallic mixes or metal or chameleon powders. Huh! Still need to get in more 360+ after my horrible disaster. Ugh! I also want that Tabletop. 😊 You already know how I love your longer videos and fast forwarding. Won't do it! It IS funny, though, to see your hands suddenly fly into hyperdrive on occasion. 😁😆 Thank you, Julie, for this fantastic demo! ❤❤❤

Fairyspun Fibers. I tried the spray idea, a few months ago. Not on mica but very fine glitter. I did not like results. It splayed out the glitter and it was floating all over my canvas. I usually do one color at a time. Let dry, shake off excess and repeat. Controlled lines of glitter and clean areas elsewhere. I was hoping I could lay out lines and carefully and far away, do a coat over everything at same time. Nope. Jmo😊
