Good afternoon Pat and Eileen. Dave and Diane here. From the "Brief encounter" vlog. Remember us? Really great to see you both back on the scene. And you look well!! Sorry to hear things have been a bit difficult for you. And hope things are looking up for you now. So many of the KZbinrs we were following have Gone quiet. I've been itching to tell you that we have bought a 57 ft Semi Trad. (Yesterday actually). It's up on the river Great Ouse, near Erith in Cambridgeshire. That's going to be a bit daunting for us. As we've not had a narrowboat for twelve years. We hope to complete the sale in a couple of weeks (subject to survey results of course). It's so flooded up there right now. So we won't be going anywhere soon. Anyway, Great video as usual. And your old hometown looks amazing. Never been there. What a magnificent Cathedral. Here in Australia we have a small town of Rochester. So it goes that the original settlement was to be called Rowechester, after the owner, however when the application for the name was submitted to the Colonial office, the clerks mistook the name for Rochester and so it is! It will be good to see you both back on the cut soon.🇦🇺
