congrats on clear but how did you dodge the domain expansion slash at 15:10 ?

Because I knew that I was safe from middle two slashes based on the timing of my timestop, which was in rhythm with the slashes before, using space bar laterally as soon as my timestop was finished gave me the highest and only chance of survival. SS space bar is long and fast, and I'd practiced it is several 4-2 pulls that were already doomed to reset earlier in my progression.

Worth it sniping without DS buff? And you keep arrow buff for snipe? Your just try to use skills when up?

If I was a better player, I would always hit Last Rush, but my play was far from perfect in this clear. However, generally speaking, if you miss Last Rush, you lose more than you gain by holding spells. Sending them when they're up without the Death Strike is more damage in the long run than waiting to rebuild your Hawk Meter.

Gz on clear! Did ur static stay together from Gate 1 all the way to G4? And which patterns in G4 did u guys struggle/wipe most on during prog? Best of luck on The First!

I went through 8 different statics before clearing with this group that will likely stick together. I ended up pugging G4 for 8 days as well while things were still undecided for some members. The real hardest mechanic was finding 7 people with enough time to keep progging. In first weeks, 4-1 normal patterns killed most of my static members and pugs most often, especially sword patterns during 280x. It still happens! Pugs would more often than not fail 175x without comms, but mechanical patterns were rarely the issue. In 4-2, few people properly visualized how they would stagger 210x, causing several demotivating wipes when a group would finally get there. I recommend watching a vod of your class for tips. For me personally as someone with 14 sharpshooters that actively plays 6 of them, retraining my brain to not position at the head or side of the boss was the biggest learning curve. in almost all other content as hit master, being ready for counters and increasing the chance of agro to remain entropy friendly by staying off the back was smart; in G4 Thaemine it's deadly!

@@KPennyfeather Thanks for sharing. I really appreciate the details. My group also spent a long time til the G4 clear but most of us stuck together and only replaced 2. I agree, getting ppl together at the same time and not run into crash/connection issues was pretty rough. I think if we spent any longer we probably would've disbanded but we managed to clear few days ago. 8 different statics though, damn that must be quite an experience... Most of our deaths in G4 were from deadly patterns that knocks u off in 280-240 like Shoulder Charge, Orianna etc. Can be frustrating when we would take turns dying lol. Aside it from that it was just getting enough experience and having everyone alive in 4-2 through Domain Expansion and past 210 Stagger check. We only saw 4-3 twice til we got the clear. Controlling aggro so the boss doesn't spin a lot is huge. Your back attackers must love u :)
