Beautiful table setting; love the turquoise especially the peacock. When you told the story about Inez (white gloves) made me remember what my Daddy would say about my mother: Daddy smoked and he would always say Mommy had washed the ashtray four times before he finished his cigarette. My Mommy wasn't even 5 foot tall petite and slight probably never weighed 100 pounds in her life; always wore high heels....even her house shoes had wedged heels. Miss them everyday. 💚

Oh I just loved this video!! My mother in law use to make this dressing!! My hubby will love that I can now make it!! I loved the stories of your sister. Wow,95 and still driving and winning a volunteer award!! Almost makes me ashamed of myself😉? I am 68 and have so many aches and pains but I am so blessed. Hi Pat, I can tell you right now that I really like that salad dressing. My mother and dad loved it and served it regularly. It really is good. It's always enjoyable to hear about your sisters. You were blessed to have siblings. What you said about not knowing from one day to the next is true. I'm recovering from an illness and way behind on my KZbin viewing. Sure glad I'm well enough to watch again! Your tablesetting is so pretty. Yes, you need those gorgeous peacock plates. They're really something!

Told him I would put his name on it. Need to start doing that with all my things. Some won’t want any of it, but a couple grandchildren like old things and the stories behind them. I have everything to make this dressing. On the lemon juice, when I have fresh lemons needing to be used up, I juice them and fill an ice cube tray with the juice. After the cubes are frozen I bag them in a zip lock bag and freeze for future use. It's an immersion blender. I love that gadget. The trick to those is to keep that blade stick submerged in the liquid. Once it rises above the liquid level the splatters are everywhere. That's why the cylinder that is provided for mixing is so deep. Thanks for the recipe. It's a keeper. The table setting is lovely. Hope you are able to find 3 more of the peacock plates. Yes I have known a few folks like your sister. But to be honest we need more white glove treatment in our society today. So much sloppiness and lack of tidiness and cleanliness. Very touching tribute to your sister.
