What an unexpectedly great tour. A priceless gift shop encounter to boot. Regardless of anyone’s political flavor, #41 was the last of an era. Beginning with #42 & ramping up big time with #43 the Office of the President will never be the same. The hyper dividedness, (divided-mess), of party politics is bringing home to roost Ben Franklin’s ominous warning of 237 years ago, when asked if we had a republic or a monarchy, (“A republic, if you can keep it”). G.H.W. Bush once said, “I’m a conservative but I’m not a nut about it”. Speaking of walls coming down; Regarding the Americans with Disabilities Act, Herbert Walker sided with liberal Democrats as well as centrist Republicans. He resisted stiff pressure from business and declared: “Let the shameful wall of exclusion finally come tumbling down.”

I think you head back home for a brief stay and then it's time to get back on the road with Lyle for the Summer 2024 tour with the large band. It sounds like Mrs. Sklar is doing well enough now to take care of herself while you're out on tour. Have a safe and most successful tour and maybe sometime in the Fall we can get with Norm about that second book signing if you still want to do that. Take care my friend!! Bob Love

I think your previous comments about an auxiliary microphone would apply well to parts of this video, but on the other hand the audio as is gave a good sense of what it would be like being in the location (and if the mike would have taken out the birds singing, that would REALLY have been for the 🐦🐦🐦🐦!!!!!).
