Also V3 spoilers: The last Class Trial is a re-trial of Rantaro Amami's Trial and the whole idea behind the trial was to expose the mastermind as a fraud for killing a spotless (Kaede) when the actual murder was comitted by the mastermind. In that manner the entire last trial is based around Rantarou and Kaede so they became the important characters again.

Every world order theme suits the game/anime sooo much in the first game the constant mystery of their school life and suddenly finding evidence about who monokuma is and secrets of the foundation in danganronpa 3 it is very quiet in the beginning but keeps building up just like how they are surviving through sheer pain and ignorance and trying to figure out who the killer is.... and in danganronpa v3 its similar to dr1 but is more vibrant and dynamic insinuating the virtual world more and reaching the absolute truth

Is Daganronpa worth playing as an AA fan?

It has similar elements, the courtroom in DR is pretty much a class trial in which the charactes debate about the culprit of a murder, there are many minigames during the trial, logic and rhythm mainly. Before that there's investigation much like in AA and free-time events to get to know the characters much better. Above all if you loved AA im sure you'll love DR, it has awesome plot twists. The "objection" of DR is "sore wa chigau yo" which translates to "You are wrong" too :D

A important difference between them is that in DR you're more prone to get attached to a victim, while in AA few of the victims were known beforehand. And only one of them deserved our sadness.

As a fellow AA fan, I can tell you: this game is great for AA fans. It's refreshing, too, since the gameplay in the trials is now more fast-paced, as it doesn't really give you time to carefully read through all the testimony, like in an actual trial. I've seen through the entirety of the anime(s) and seen DR1 through and am currently playing DR2. I'd say it's definitely worth your money.
