Laurie, great video. Always wanted to be able to visualize what Bridgeport was like before my time from the stories I heard from my late uncle and grandparents. Question- where it shows Bernie’s Package Store, what street is that in Bridgeport? Thank you.

That's Beardsley Park at the end . Can see the stone bridge and Island near the entrance to the Park ( near where the snack bar was )

Great video. The ending you can see the stone bridge from Beardsley Park/Lover's Island. Do you have any more videos of Beardsley Park or Sylvan Beach?

Brogan, Thank you. I was not sure if that was Seaside Park or Beardsley Park. Thanks for clearing that up. I have other old 1940s Bridgeport videos, but mostly of family gatherings and such. I don't have more of the parks.
