I can only imagine how much this Guru must struggle to bring so much perfection in her Shishyas. Very few Gurus go through this hardship. Hope her students and parents understand how fortunate they are to be under her guidance. My Pranamas to a legend!

What is sad is that the highly talented and cultured Gurus like Dr. Sheela and her core student-teachers are keeping alive our ancient classical dance tradition through sheer dedication despite limited resources and financial support. While thousands of crores are being spent on making decadent movies replete with violence and sexual overtones, on cricket leagues that we inherited from the British, and electing corrupt, ignorant, hate mongering politicians; why can't the society and its privileged class provide healthy donations and scholarships to promote traditional arts? Infosys founder Narayana Murthy's son Rohan donated 5+ million dollars (36+ Crores) to Harvard University to set up a library of Indic literature with Professor Sheldon Pollack of Columbia University in charge of researching our sacred Sanskrit texts. Prof. Pollack is notorious for deliberately distorting and shame Hinduism to serve the agenda of the Christian Evangelicals who likely provide stealth financial support. Why can't Narayana Murthy provide a faction of that (say 2 crores) to support institutions like Sri Devi Nrityalaya? Just unbelievable. This is what happens when colonized brains pretend to be the custodians of Hindu heritage and history.

She boldly says she can judge a kid based on their how they look/mannerisms or by their family background alone? Visually u can only identify who a brahmin or malayalee is and this should not happen in these kind of schools which claim to culturally educate kids. Are things like family background etc even a criteria to judge kids? Parents instead of perfecting the children in dance or dreaming about publicly faming them, can first think about and respect their kids Morales and naturally imbibed values n characteristics.discrimination based on family.background, caste, appearances etc in such places will only impact children character mentally n emotionally.all that shines on KZbin alone is not gold. While she is as valuable as gold for her talent , that alone wouldn't make one complete .both the sisters need to respect people n even kids as individuals and show courtesy n politness in their communications and actions as well.
