Update on the bike -- I got a call last week from the dealer that the bike started up after they were messing around with it and that they will contact Piagio for a solution so this doesn't happen again. I'll keep you guys posted with an update video when I get the bike back (hopefully next week.)

you dont need to buy anything, any special parts to reverse gearbox and have a GP shift. you just need to reverse the original parts of the original system. I've made it on all my aprilia (modele 2017, 2020, 2021 and 2023) and it's work perfectly!

I just saw your video of the removal of foot pegs if you need the plates that cover the foot pegs I have them your welcome to have I have no use for them .

I did GP shift on my 890r, similar to yours but I just had to flip the knuckle and re adjust the height of shifter......it definetly shifted smoother but was lil weird after using std shift since the 70s....I can totally see it as benefit but went back to std.....I convert it back to GP once I start riding again consistently......surprised you didn't just do it yourself though.....super simple My next item is adj rearsets for more versatility...like my feet to be a bit farther back......on naked bike help with the wind I think

According to the instructions, I THINK the washer might go on the other side (however, I very well could be a moron:)). Can you confirm which side the washer goes on?

To reverse the gearbox, you don't need to make any settings via the motorbike's control unit?

Hi my rsv4 is 2012 model by changing this, does the quick shifter still work? Even its a reverse pattern

The bike has no idea it’s reversed because it’s mechanical so no issues.

Why would you avoid rearsets, comfortability is the reason for aftermarket rearsets.

I was already comfortable with stock sets, just needed GP shift. For those like me, they can benefit from the GP conversion to save money over getting an entire rear set.
