I’ll have to say it’s overpriced. Are the eggs from organic pasture raised chickens? The croissant looks like it’s too bread-like rather than the light, airy, crunchy, buttery type.

Hmmm ... my first thought is that the BEC is over priced. However, they certainly gave you an ample amount (large croissant, more than enough eggs, and a fair amount of bacon). I have to mention that the price of eggs have gone up substantially recently, so there is that (not sure if that plays into the price or not, but since the prices were established at this restaurant prior to the egg price increases, I would think not), plus you are at a Gordon Ramsay establishment, which means that you are paying more for the name. Although it's nice that they gave you so much egg, I have to wonder if the croissant/egg/bacon ratio is equal to have made it a good balance. It seemed a little light on bacon compared to the volume of egg to me. The potatoes would have left me a bit dissatisfied. My personal preference would have been hash browns rather than chopped potatoes and I also agree that a side of fruit would have made this a more satisfying meal. So, yes, my personal opinion is that this is an over priced meal. Bottom line is that you liked it and gave the BEC a reasonably high rating, and isn't that what is the most important thing? It's rather high priced, but I trust your judgement and if you give an 8-plus score, then I wouldn't hesitate to order it. Thanx again Danny for another great food review!

When you add tax and tip, it come out to over $20. When you took a bite of the Croissant,I too thought to myself: Costco! I have been to Caesars in AC and first I looked at the menu and then looked at the meals being served; and kept on walking. Directly across is snack/coffee bar that serves the same items at half the cost. I would rather use the savings for gambling. At least they gave you a “free” refill of iced tap water.😀

Nice you’re pushing 15K soon! Considering it’s a celebrity chef’s restaurant, I wouldn’t consider the price over the top. Very generous with the eggs & considering how the price of eggs has soared, the higher cost may be acceptable. And the fact that it was cooked to your liking along with the bacon also help . Besides, you already knew the price of this breakfast sandwich so shouldn’t be falling over with sticker shock…unless of course the sandwich tasted terrible & was poorly prepared. It wouldn’t be worth it at half the cost. Too bad couldn’t say better for the potatoes….it would be a refreshing change if you took a bite of the whole food item together & rated the entire preparation before dissecting each component…..
