I thought the last joke (lock the door/"every BL ever") needed at least one more clip of kisses interrupted to really elicit laughs out loud--and that following the Rule of Three would not have been overkill in this situation. In fact, Love Mechanics gave us a quite recent example of that trope to go along with the vintage one you chose. In fact, doubling the font size of the year to punch home the "they never learn" aspect of the trope....enhances the joke's point.

I encourage people to watch things legally because that helps us to get even more BL. I know there are a ton of streaming services, I have a couple yearly subscriptions and then for others, I just get a one month subscription and binge everything on it. That way it's not super expensive.
