At 2:46, it is Presque Isle State Park, not Presque All State Park. I live one mile from it in Erie, PA. At 2:21, you should have shown a picture of the U.S. Brig Niagara from the war of 1812, instead of some modern camouflaged boat. We have a sailing replica of it here in Erie.

Let me ask you a question please and it's gonna sound stupid lol. I've been watching all these lost at sea videos ,and I'm wandering has anyone ever been lost in the lake ? Like for days on end ans then been found alive or is it possible to reach shore from any point before dying ,if you're a good swimmer ??

How is lake Erie on the Eastern edge of the US? I've lived in the US all my life, and last I checked, the lake is nowhere near the Eastern edge. Was looking foward to facts...but just got YT fiction.

I was born and raised in Toledo. At the time I lived there, 1939 to 1961, Lake Erie was very badly polluted! We frequently went swimming in it anyway. Bay Point Park on the west side of Sandusky Bay was one of our favorite places to go.

I water skied on Lake Erie when I was a kid . It was rough and water was cold ( probably early summer ) but I had a great time . I was born in Buffalo but Bell Helicopter moved my mom and dad , sister and I to Texas . We went back often for long visits . I had an uncle and aunt that lived on a farm and others ones that had a summer house on Like Erie . We would sometimes spend the 4th of July there and burn massive bonfires on the beach . Some people gathered driftwood for weeks preparing their fire . It was great . That uncle was also a fireman and he did a lot of ice fishing too on the lake . Good Times !

Imagine believing Lake Erie isn't flat and level, but instead has over 5 miles of alleged curvature from Toledo Ohio to Buffalo NY. Yep people who believe they live on a ball floating and spinning 1038 mph😳 think the flat and level lake waters curve over 5 miles across the 212 miles of lake waters from Toledo to Buffalo 😂. Sheeple I hate to break it to you but water has actually been used for over 1000 years to level things. It's just what water naturally does it's a fundamental property it's natural science 🤷. Water in your bathtub is level and flat👍, water in your small neighborhood pond is level and flat👍, water in your local Great Lake is level and flat👍, water in the ocean is level and flat👍🤔. Water above a convex/ curved surface will always be level and flat it's just a fundamental property of water. You can lead a indoctrinated globe believer to flat and level water but you can't make him think🤷. Basically they will get mad at you and call you a derogatory name for trying to help them understand the natural fundamentals and physics of water 😑🤷. I ❤️ you all even if you hate me for trying to make you see the truth. ~FlipFlat 369, Unus❤️ aka One Love~

@bobthedopeman7327 Are you going to help me spread the news that large bodies of water always lie level and flat? Or can you cite something about large bodies of water conforming to the exterior of a ball? Why am I guessing this is just a drive-by ad hominem attack with 0% chance of discourse.

@@brian13105 Gravity omg 🫣. What gravity are you talking about? Mass attracting Mass or the bending of space-time 🤨🤣? Imagine believing in the bending of a concepts such as time 🤭. Hold on a second here I got a bend some love real quick it's tricky to do, I must concentrate 😆. Crap that was hard to do, compared to bending freedom earlier 🤣. You believe in gas attracting gas in a 10 to -17 torr vacuum cool story bro👍. So why is it again you don't believe in entropy? Clearly you don't believe in entropy correct? I mean you do believe in a positive pressure system of 14psi sitting adjacent to a negative pressure system of 10 to -17 torr with no container or barrier right? Can you tell me what the necessary antecedent is the gas pressure you won't answer will you? Hmmm that very word "pressure" should be a clue👍, put your thinking cap on😄 press-sure / pressure. Hmmm what could the antecedent be 🤔. Here's the reality, your comment was a drive-by ad hominem attack, do you disagree with that statement? And you just got schooled by whatever label you want to put on me😁. Most of you are the same, ad hominem and run, you can't hang my guy, see you never again, unless you want to get one more ad hominem attack in with zero discourse 😄. Actually that's exactly what you're going to do, because we both know you can't hang 😁! I won't be holding my breath for discord but waiting for your disappearing ad hominem, and that's truly sad 😑. ~369 UNUS❤️~✌️

@@robertpearson8798 No silly, why would you think they are sinking 🫣. Watch a ship appear to disappear, then take a high-power pair of binoculars and you will see the bottom of the ship appear again 🤔. By using optics you have just increased your angle of resolution. Eventually this will stop working as the distance gets greater and greater, even quality optics have a resolution limit👍. However you must have to ask yourself if the bottom of the ship was indeed obstructed by the curvature of the earth as you claimed. How would using optics allow you to see through the water bulge on earth, werid 🤔? Binoculars by no means are a type of X-ray vision right? So why was the disappearing bottom of the ship able to be seen again with the aid of optics🤔? You can easily test this in a really big store with a level concrete floor (Walmart and Home Depot etc). Look for the longest aisle you can find with no obstructions hopefully 200 ft or more, the longer the aisle the better👍. Then place a small object such as a pop bottle on the floor at one end of the aisle then walk to the opposite end, position your phone camera lens or eyeballs as low to the floor as possible, (your camera lens or eyeballs should be no more than 2.5 inches of the surface of the floor). I suggest using your phone camera otherwise the side of your face will be touching the floor, but either work just fine 👍. Now take notice that the bottom inch or inch and a half of the pop bottle has appeared to vanish hmmm🤔. If you want to make it reappear with your phone you can use the zoom feature, by doing so you will increase the angle of resolution thus exposing what was previously not seen. If you are using your eyes instead of the phone, have someone slide that bottle/ object slowly towards you, as the pop bottle gets closer to you, you will start to see what was previously missing hmmm🤔. Objects always disappear from the bottom first on a perfectly level and flat surface this shouldn't be a surprise to you. The human eye has an angular resolution of about 0.0003 radians, 1 arcminute (0.02 degrees) right? So why wouldn't you expect to see objects disappear from the bottom first on a level surface? We don't have Superman eyes🤷 although that would be pretty cool and clear up a lot of confusion and misinformation. I really hope you do this fun experiment and report back with your findings after doing so 👍. And remember just because I am correct on this particular topic, it doesn't necessarily prove the earth is a topographical level plane like I claim and we all experience everyday 👍. It just disproves your faulty belief of 3 miles and greater out to sea, is causing a hump of water to obstruct boats🫣. Another odd thing to think about is 3 miles out to sea and boats are already beginning to disappear depending on the height of the ship right? Let that sink in for a minute no pun intended 😉 ok. So supposedly on the Y axis small boats with a low profile disappear at 3 miles🤔 but what about when you are looking straight out to sea and you're seeing approximately 22 miles on the X axis right to left, follow me? Why wouldn't you expect to see visible curvature right 🤔? If just 3 miles is causing small boats to disappear and the bottom of ships to be obstructed, certainly 22 miles right to left which is much further than three miles would be "easily visible"🤔. Now try to say the Earth is "real big" so you shouldn't "expect" to see curvature on the x-axis 🙄. Then in the very next sentence tell me how just 3 mi on the Y axis is causing small boats to disappear 🤔. You can't have your cake and eat it too, it's one or the other my friend sorry 🤷. Is the earth too big to see curvature across 22 MI left to right or is it hiding small boats at just three miles pick one. You known what the really sad part is? No one in this comments section will have discord with me, they only punch and run 🙄. If you don't believe me take a look at all the ad hominem attacks and strawmen in here. Why is everyone afraid to have a discussion on this topic? Are fundamental core values that important to protect? Is cognitive dissidence to discomforting for humans to handle? Why is this topic so polarizing, and more importantly why don't any of you understand the ridiculous model you "believe" in 🙄? ~369 UNUS❤️~✌️
