I binge read My Love Story With Yamada-kun after I watched the anime and loved it. Fragrant Flower Love is so wholesome and the twisted of Romeo x Juliet, along with all the life lessons everyone learns and grows throughout the series, dealing with anxiety and struggles, makes the characters relatable. You can relate to at least one character in Fragrant Flower when you were a teenager, at least, that's how I felt while reading it. Trigun is definitely a classic favorite of mine, and I'm glad for the reprint after so long since I can finally physically collect maximum without the prices of an arm and a leg.

Tree of Death Yogimitshu ( warning spoiler) There is a pretty graphic scene of grape along with constant gore and extreme violence. I thumbed through a copy at my B&N and happened to open it on the full page of the grape and was taken aback.

I ordered the Gannibal boxset but after seeing Ablaze butchering the translation of Centaurs I’m scared they will do the same here. I think the company they used for that translation advertised themselves as using AI translating with a “human touch”…

Kakizaki has the most beautiful style and skills to me (I own everything from him). Hope he will be noticed more and more.. I really love his light dark technique. He really knows what three-dimensionality means! After God seems pretty good. It reminds me a bit Chainsaw Man and Attack On Titan all together..

Thinking about it now Trigun has many parallels to Roland The Last Gunslinger in Steven Kings's magnum opus The Dark Tower seven volume dark fantasy sci fi novels cant go wrong with that . Strangely I purchased some graphic novels for the Dark Tower series but Im loathe to read them I always have that Dying Universe following The Beam in my imagination and fear an artists rendition will never live up to my profound enjoyment of those books . Same with Frank Herbert's Dune novels the graphic novels no freaking way BUT THE TWO FILMS ARE OPULENT BRILLIANCE REALIZED of the highest order !!!!!

The only manga everyone needs to read asap is Usogui. Without caping its even better than Berserk and i tought that is impossible. The start is a bit slow to be honest, but it turns to cocaine in book form after that. The last 2 Arcs are peak fiction. Its really insane how good this manga is.
