A very long time ago I purchased an assortment of beads in the U.S. and packed them in my checked baggage before flying back to Canada. After landing and retrieving my suitcase I was approached by two CBSA agents who questioned me at length before even opening my bag because the several strings of beads looked suspiciously like animal spinal columns on the x-rays. On seeing all the beads they switched their suspicion to drug smuggling and held me up for a half hour while randomly checking the packages of loose beads for illegal drugs that I was not smuggling. They seemed so disappointed when they had to release me.

I got pulled to the side for a secondary check last week. I was travelling with just my purse because my husband was driving down with the moving truck and would be there the next day. Long story short, I had 4 screws and a 3 inch long square head drill bit in my purse and the drill bit was not allowed. They had 4 people come to check it out! I had no clue lol Hubby was worried he would misplace the screws for the hottub so I took them.

4 people, for a drill bit. Idiots, sorry to that. What a waste of time for you and you must of been a bit embarrassed when you were pulled. You're probably a good wife and know your husband well to of taken the screws. Question though-how are screws less of a concern compared to the drill bit with no sharp points or edges. I'm baffled over that 😊

A few years ago while waiting to get on a plane, the announcement over speakers said would the gentleman who left a chainsaw please come back to the counter. Word got out that the chainsaw still had gas still in it. Everybody around giggled/laughed.

While I FULLY Understand the Need of ESA's (as I have 1 myself..a cat)....The animals being "proclaimed" as ESA'S..is getting OUT OF CONTROL!! Too Many ppl are using it just an Exscuse to get away with transporting strange animals. The animals some choose as ESA'S....says MORE of the NEED of "MENTAL" support than Emotional. (ex..the pig, "she was talking to it like it was a human")
